Oddly, although he should rightly be pilloried for events surrounding Donington in the last few years, I never really thought it was a particuarly good track for F1 and I was a bit disappointed when it was announced it would be hosting.

That said, as a racing man, I still love the place, it holds many happy memories for me, I have watched several motogp meetings there and numerous others, and I still wish it was used for the motogp.....to witness 30 moto2 machines hurtling down crainer would really be some sight.

Especially in the beautiful Derby weather....lol
