I fully understand that the Students are angry with Nick Clegg for going back on his election promises.

However, Violence is never the answer, especially when the Police have nothing to do with this at all! They are trying to protect the public, and after what happened last time, are you at all surprised they were a touch heavy handed.

The Police are going through exactly the same. They're funding has been slashed and jobs are going, plus recruitment has been frozen for at least two years.

I was accepted in the police and was due to start in September. I have since been told my recruitment group has been dropped due to the Government cuts. My career path that I've been working towards for two / three years has now gone! I'm stuck working at Asda doing ridiculous hours a week just to be able to afford to move out!

So don't feel so hard done by! Yes, fees will go up, but you don't HAVE to go to Uni!! And to be honest, if it stops every Tom Dick and Harry going to uni 'for the experience' and to get pished every day and come away with a useless degree or nothing at all, I think it's a good idea!!
