If these students are the Future of this country , God help us.
However in fairness they mostly have been led down the garden path by (the previous government, and the current Liberals who got caught out when they ended up in the coalition, and are now having to backtrack on their promise anything policy)as they were encouraged to stay on at school and do O levels ,then stay at school and do A levels ,then go to Uni and in most cases do an obscure course with little hope of a job at the end of it, because thats why they were encouraged not to leave school in the first place,there are NO JOBS so its the alternative.
Also by being in education from 16 -25 ish they didn't/don't show up as unemployed !!!

From the slums of Liverpool (proud of it) I went this route,and worked my a#se off all the way through further education with a very little help from my parents as we were so poor, No hot water,No bathroom,outside toilet and GAS lighting !!and that's after both parents fighting for this countries survival in WW2

In America and other countries it is common place for students to WORK their way through Uni/Coll,not be handed it on a plate by the government,what is the UK's student's right to a bill of passage through the education system ?.

Both my kids went through uni and who payed their fees,THEY both did,they didn't want a hand out of me and the mrs,they worked doing anything,now they have their just rewards,jobs, cars,holidays abroad,money in their pockets,its all there LEGALLY in the UK,THERE IS JUST A SYSTEM ON HOW TO GET IT....work.
Yesterday's rioters were joined by some very dodgy extremist groups,politically motivated and total yobs,the previous government was warned there was an underlying feeling of discontent amongst 18-30 yr olds in this country 5 years ago and did nothing..

Take the 7/8 stereo typical,18 plus ish masked,downtrodden,ethnically disposed,timber carrying,disadvantaged,designer clothed,hardly English speaking group of d#ckheads,protesting about SCHOOL + Uni fees, who grabbed one reporter to explain why they feel they have no future in this country,--simple answer to these guys !!!! , no more FREE rides for STUDENTS..afer all they don'y pay until the END of their education then only if they get a job over Ł23,000.00 and there won't be many of them about in 4 years from now.
