Although this video misses the largest part of the accident, with today`s safety improvements there is little doubt that he would have simply disconnected the steering wheel, got out and walked away.

Love the opening shot of the fans sitting in that large `Gulf` advert/viewing area......no doubt in todays overprotective culture, something you would be unlikely to see.
