Well as was reported in autosport at the time, the reason for the miniscule fine was it was actually the highest fine that could be imposed on the day (race weekend), as the stewards thought it deserved more of a punishment they refered it to the WMSC, autosport and Max both have said it don't go all the way to WMSC for nothing, expect a points deduction.

I will be an interesting few weeks ahead, will this show the end of FIAt or is it still alive and well?
