Ohhhhh.... havent; we COVERED this....? You were arguing that it 'tyour device' should be set to STOP the vehicles speeding by limiting the speed!

Gatsos and Specs DO NOT directly affect the maximum POSSIBLE speed of the cars.... You were calling for a device which COULD F*O*R*C*I*B*LY stop you exceeding a 30mph speed limit but letting you, 10 yards later, go up to a maximum of 70 mph in a 70 mph area!

Should a Gatso FAIL..... it doesn't put your LIFE at risk. Should YOUR device fail..... it could KILL you and those around you!

That's the difference..... plus that the people CREATING the 'speed limiter' would be FINANCIALLY responsible for the deaths if the failure CAUSED the death. The makers of Gatsos are NOT as they have no DIRECT influence on the cars! Gatsos work on the DRIVER who remains responsible for the vehicle! Your device would REMOVE the responsibility from the driver and pass it on to the MAKER! No one wants THAT responsibility unless it is UTTERLY fool prrof..... and you seem to underestimate the stupidty of fools!
