My graphics card started playing up and crashing the pc whenever it was run is svga. I'd run a memory test on the card and it was coming back with loads of errors but, rather than bin it, i thought I'd give the baking trick a go. Much to my amazement it worked! A few components dropped off the board (oven was maybe too hot) but i managed to solder them back on and, hey presto, I can play all my games again.
Allegedly it works with phones and other electrical equipment too.
