Have you rang demon ? they could have suspended your service. I had this happen to a friend who was unaware he was running an open mail relay and demon cut off access. A quick call to them and me closing off the relay and all was back up again. They could close your service for any number of reasons non-payment etc. If your router works at friends then it isnt the router if the bt engineer can sync then it isnt the adsl connection itself so i would think it is a problem at demon's end
