I see the fine as just bail money until the WMSC sit and rule on the incident.

Just think of it as a magistrates court deciding that the crime is too serious for them to pass sentence so have put the team on bail and passed them up the chain to the crown court for punishment.

the red team have decided to not contest the fine ( an admision of guilt ) and not to throw good money after bad. I hope the WMSC see this the same way and pass a sutiable sentence that will send the right measage to all teams.

Maybe we should think about banning all pit to car radios ( keep them for the race director for safety calls etc) that way there cant be any covert calls made exept by the pit board which would make it a bit dificult to do covertly. also make the cars fuel to the end so that no fuel saving calls can be uset to manipulate the race results.
