I know you are being (what you would call: 'Ironic'....but it's really 'sarcastic') but of COURSE it's to make a profit..... just like ANY privatisation scheme.

And why SHOULDN'T we make money out of TW*TS who simply are too USELESS at driving to maintain a PROPER control of their vehicles?

If you lot are SO bad at driving that you can't, accurately, control your speeds, then we'll be doing a HUGE public service getting YOU lot off the road... for FREE to the decent, law abiding members of the public! We'll cost the DECENT LEGAL drivers absolutely NOTHING..... only the TW*Ts end up paying us!!!!!

Good god, if the REST of law enforcement could cover ALL it's costs out of the CRIMINAL's pockets, I'd be all for that, TOO!

Oh... as I have been open about this consortium and MY interst in it on THIS web site for the past SIX YEARS, alone, I am surprised that YOU are surprised about it.

The Labour party was less likely to 'employ' us but...... under the Tories...... we'll see......
