Ooooohhh... you sad people..... drummer?..... cool?....

(I think the modern parlance is:) "You are 'avin' a larrrffff.... arncha!"

The list of drummers is interesting but, I suspect, shows you haven't been spending enough time listening to Vinnie..... it's NOT about speed, volume or 'Moon-ability'...... Vinnie is the best simply because he can do it ALL and he does it BETTER than the others.

I don't know his ethnicity but, with the name of 'Vinnie' he HAS to be Jewish somewhere in his past.... that concept ALONE makes him special..... (hushed reverent tones....) a JEWISH kid with RYTHM.... now this IS original!

It's his BREDTH of playing styles/skills that is so STUNNING..... how many OTHER drummers could include such a MASSIVE range of styles as playing with, for examples: Herbie Hancock, Megadeth (spelling.....!), Sting, Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Jeff Beck, etc., etc.. in their 'band membership'!!!

Vinnie is not like ANYONE else.
