My view for what it's worth is this. The bikes are not the problem it is the riders. If you stick to the same road laws as everyone else there is no problem. The fact is they don't undertaking and weaving around on motorways, steaming down the middle of the road in traffic and very rarely sticking to speed limits on urban roads. I even had one bike undertake me between the van I was driving and the kerb. I am not anti bikes either and come from a family of motorbike racers. This is just what I feel .
