there is not right or wrong on this just interested in your views

i know 6 people who had sports bike, 2 still have them the other four meant i had to wear a black tie, this is not an anti biker post but maybe need to look what is best place for them

bikers seem to slip under any road safety measures, the best biker in the world cant have the skill for the public roads and the idiots in metal boxes

all the sports bike owners i know dont use them as transport, they sit in the garage from nov to april then only come out at the weekend when sunny

when they do, this is from there own admission they drive our roads like race tracks

really good mate and ex karter used to have a busa, in the summer months he would get up on a sunday at 6am, time himself from derby to skeg, have a coffee and a smoke, then try and beat his time on the way back

then he did his 1st track day at donny....before it got screwed by a F1 dream, he was fine but following his brother, mark nearly ran over his head, his brother adam highsided in front of him.......meat wagon was sent, red flag session, adam was fine his helmet was flat on one side and if selling the bike on ebay you would only show pics from one side, adam was lucky it happened on track, we sat in the pub afterwards and agreed the roads and sports bikes dont mix, mark has sold all 3 of his road bikes...his words not mine.....too many tw @ts on the road and i am the biggest, brought a 750cc track bike, yes he will probably still kill himself but it will be his own fault...not some idiot in a metal box

ask most sports bike riders what they want and you will get the same answer, to drive what they brought as it should be driven.......most choose the roads because they believe that is the only option, it isnt

yes you could ban the TT but you will not stop the guys who want to push themselfs to their limits......it is human nature and the reason we have achieved what we have, good or bad.......what next ban climbing everest, doesnt get tv coverage but the death rate is high per person that tries

or look at the paragliding champs, the turkey round, it is rare they get away with less than 2 deaths, have jumped off Babadag, with an experienced pilot....so did my good lady, awesome experience

open post, so interested in your views
