But Davy........first and foremost, I am truly sorry that you lost a family member at the TT, that must be a truly horrible experience to go through and, despite my sadness at all TT deaths, yours is an experience, that I cannot imagine and I would most certainly never wish to experience personally......however, whilst I very often agree with your views on virtually all things racing and respect your views here, I have to disagree.

Every time you enter a circuit, every time you buy an entry ticket, you see one statement....."Motor Sport Can Be Dangerous".

Whenever I attend a meeting, be it the TT races, an F1 meeting, BTCC, or even karting, I don`t expect to see, but am forced to accept that, by the very nature of the sport, there could be a fatality.......of course, I agree that with most forms of track racing having been sanitised to a huge degree, the TT, being a street circuit, is FAR more likely to experience such fatalities, but, in my view, so long as the competitors are happy to continue, and quite obviously they are, then the event MUST continue.........if they day ever arrives where the riders get together and agree that it is simply too dangerous to race, as it would seem possibly did happen with F1, then yes, I agree, then WOULD be the time to seriously consider the options for the TT..........but until that time comes, and I can`t see it happening, then it HAS to continue.
