OK:

1 - No, providing the drivers are happy to race there.
2 - The Gladiator analogy is ridiculous as the whole point of it was to fight to the death. It's a ludicrous argument and you know it.
3 - See answer 1

You may have an iota of an argument if the TT was part of the World Championship thereby forcing riders to take on the track in order to compete in the series. As it is a one-off event and no-one had a gun to anyone's head, as long as the riders continue to want to put themselves up against the toughest, most thrilling course in the world, I will continue to support it.
