How about any of the programs that were developed for, let's guess: the NHS, Big Business, Small and Medium businesses, small retail outlets, garages etc. that were developed under any Rapid Development tool.

How about my largest current client who is a National retail name which have 5 seperate suites of programs for stock handling and general retail that not ONE of which will work on A*N*Y Mac system..... (this is REALLY annoying that I cannot mention company names!)

How about all the stuff I wrote for the E.E.C. and the large VERY large businesses in the Biotech fields?

How about the stuff I wrote for a company who use the word 'British' in their name.....

How about the stuff I developed for a National chain of ESTAE AGENTS which won't run on a Mac....

How about the suites of programs that I have written for a VERY well known chain of Auctioneers?

I could go on and ON about my stuff...... BUT.... there are THOUSANDS of developers like me who all use some for of Rapid Development tool, be it Visual Basic or a development in Access or some Borland tool? Go and look at almost ANY small business with specific needs: if they have had a 'tool' written for them, it's SERIOUSLY unlikely to be supported on a Mac (that's NOT being run under Windows Emulation!).

Let's not forget the situation with Microsoft Office. Most small, medium mand BIG busineses use it. Yes.... it CAN run under Mac..... however, for the cost of running it ON a Mac..... you could have two COMPLETE systems running FASTER and more universally under Windows!!! What sort of DIV would you have to be to run Office on a MAC? (Don't answer that, Alan: we know you ARE the sort of DIV who DOES!)

********

What gets me MOST is that YOU 'ProMac' lot think you are being INDEPENDENT and somehow, 'standing against the Man'....... whereas the TRUTH is that Microsoft and Linux actually have SOME 'socialist' credibility.... Bill Gates may have been HARD but he has worked towards making comuters CHEAPER and more available for the MASSES! The truth is that Apple have worked TIRELESSY to MILK money from the gullible and offer no POSSIBILITY of 'open source' software or even CHEAP software. For precision, they utterly BAN people from producing CHEAP software for the Mac......

If I were not a hard-right-winger; I would claim that YOU lot are a bunch or OVER-PAID proletarian B*ST*RDS who are working hard to PREVENT the 'working class' from accessing the Internet, Computers and ANY thing good which flows from those things JUST to fill a RICH TW*T's pocket!

Steve Jobs *I*S* the unacceptable face of Capitalism!

You are NOT 'socialists' fighting AGAINST the system! You are a tool of oppression of the masses!
