That's what I'm getting at. A PC can do everything a Mac does, and more. There are interface differences, and some may prefer one workflow to another, but in terms of utility, the Windows PC is hands down the winner.
In terms of stability, a Mac, a well configured Windows PC, and a well configured Linux PC are all equally stable. Our Windows PC's and servers at work are all operational 24/7 with no problems. Linux servers I have installed in other businesses are operational 24/7 with no problems. I'm sure the same could be achieved with a Mac (it's heavily based on Unix you know).
What you can't achieve with a Mac is the diverse range of tasks that a Windows based PC can perform (not a slur on the platform, only third party support). What you can't achieve with a Linux PC is the commercial polish, although all the same tasks as a Windows PC can be performed and for considerably less money than the rest.
