Doink....

1) Why did it have to be a 'DECENT' van? When I set up my first business, there was no chance ON THIS PLANET that I could afford a 'decent' ANYTHING! If you want to start on your own.... it IS going to hurt...... BUT..... if you do..... it's WORTH it!

2) Why do your think the STATE should PAY for you to be TRAINED in a )new) trade..... Our children have all had to BORROW to learn THEIR 'trades'.... why should YOU..... or other 'tradesmen' be different? Did **I** get trained by the state for MY job? NO! I WORKED at, effectively, an approenticeship until I had LEARNED enough at my ON expense. And I didn't do it ONCE.... I have learned a new 'trade' THREE times and have NEVER had any form of state handout!

If you WANT to make it on your own.... the clue is in the WORDS..... it's 'on your OWN'! And you need to know.... it's DAMNRED hard..... but, for me, it was WORTH it!

Having said all that, the REASON you got your job was BECAUSE you acted on your own initiative and you WERE qualified for the job.... and GOT it! With no sarcasm at all..... well DONE.... we need more like you!
