Mercedes will not appeal the decision.
Ross Brawn has agreed not to push forward an appeal on a 'sporting basis' He is sure that their interpretation of the rules was correct and apparently the FIA have indicated that there is ambiguity in how the rule has been written and they are adding the rule to the mext meeting agenda for review.
We can therefore conclude that somthing may happen, and as was said previously the fairest outcome would be a return to thr order prior to the safety car line i.e. Schumi 7th. However the FIA have a problem as they may be contraviening other rules by doing so.
