Of course motorists are being victimised! The police set up shop at the side of the road, and without any grounds for suspicion, subject you to a check to see if you are breaking the speed limit & driving without tax/mot/insurance. It will cease to be victimisation of motorists when we see them set up shop around the shopping centres and outside pubs etc and proceed to check every passing pedestrian for weapons/drugs/stolen property etc.

So far as removing all speed cameras goes, they simply don't achieve anything! They were introduced in the early 1990's, and the reduction in road accidents & injuries has been spectacular by its absence!
