No I'm not blind, I just think there's more to this than just this isolated incident.

Michael Schumacher clearly has had a rough time trying to adapt to being back in F1 as a driver. Whether he successfully adapts or not doesn't detract from the fact that he has won more championships than anybody else. We may even argue that he may rue the decision to have come back to F1. But to suggest that the Mercedes GP team have swopped allegiance from Rosberg to Schumacher is not only premature (1st week that Schumi has outdone Rosberg and the 1st week that Rosberg has had a rotten weekend)but either naive or malicious.

It's a well known fact that there's alot of people in the UK who are very quick to shoot down Schumi at anything he does whether it's something he does at racing or something else. And all of this is usually caused by the bitter and hatred that was devised during the 1994 season when he was battling with Damon Hill. It's the same with Christiano Ronaldo in Footabll, regardless of how many outstanding goals he has scored and will continue to score in his career, the Brits (or English I should say) will always have a deep hatred for him after what happened with Rooney at the last World Cup.

So in my opinion, all this talk seems more in spite of who Schumi was and totally devoid of realistic F1 debate. It's more like a headless chicken scenario in my eyes from yourself and others (including a certain BBC F1 Pundit)

I think we should all just be gratful that we've got him back on the grid, even if your accusations turn out to be true. He's certainly made someting to talk about after what was a relavitly boring race.
