Seems to me that a decision has rightly been taken to limit the meddling of stewards in the racing, especially post race. Both of Hamiltons recent incidents seem to confirm this, effectively he has had a visit to the Clerks office for a talking to, where he and Vettel would also rightly be given a chance to give their point of view before a decision is made.

In previous years we would have already seen several points deductions or grid drops etc. Which do nothing but ruin the racing and more importantly the reputation of motor sport in the eyes of Joe Public.
