doesnt work anyway does it!

McLaren have reputedly the most powerful engine on the grid and the f-duct and are only 8kph (5mph) faster in the speed trap on probably the longest straight on the calender

Surely the point of such a duct would be to have a higher top speed while keeping the same levels of downforce through the corners, rather than make up for poor design of the rest of the car as McLaren seem to do.

With Christian Horner admitting they are integrating an f-duct into the red bull chassis and several other teams also working on one McLaren can only go backwards unless they improve the chassis fundamentals quickly.
