On the other hand, you could use the Desoutter Plaster Saw, which was advertised in the 70's with the slogan 'it can cut a British Rail sandwich but not your finger' until BR objected.

There the tool will cut any rigid substance, plaster, wood, steel, but not a flexible one like skin, which is why they use it to cut casts off patients.

Besides, under a 1000G, there's probably damage not just to the blade and crumple structure, the whole tool (motor,shaft blade holder, mountings) is probably suspect.

Lastly, you just know there are going to be people who will rely on this to save them and be less careful round dangerous machinery. (like fitting chassis protectors so you can ride kerbs 'safely')
