He possibly would of been in the same fight but he'd of been in second place with kubica, massa, alonso and webber all behind him, yes he'd of dropped off buttons pace but you cant have 2 first places obviously so a 1-2 for the team is what they all race for, he would of kept the others behind him as they'd have all his turbulence
