Tough one isn`t it.......

We really have Rooney and Defoe.

Owen is injured, and surely wouldn`t have made it anyway.....

Heskey isn`t, and never WAS good enough.

Kevin Davies would do a job, but doesn`t score enough for Bolton.

Zamora could do what Toto Schillachi did for Italy in 1990, effectively come from `nowhere` then return to relative obscurity, but, inbetween, fire the goals that win the World Cup........

Reality check though......what will happen when we meet the likes of Spain or Brazil?? We are the equal of all others, but those two are the benchmarks.
