Sad story, and I`m not too sure about whether there really is anything you can do without proof of ownership......

I suppose you could `spoil` the auction by putting in some crazy bid for it yourself, which would totally outbid any other candidates, then refuse to pay.....

Then again who DOES have proof of ownership, if neither you or your Dad has??
