I don't think I ever claimed that Twitter or Facebook would change the world, what I did say is that generations worry about different things. There's a big difference between those two claims ! The fact that Twitter and Facebook are more important to the kids, than say The Archers, will probably mean that in time things like The Archers will pass on along with the generation that supported them.
My generation sits between yours and the kids. We're responsible for bringing the web to the mainstream. That has changed the world... dramatically [I'm proud to have made a personal contribution to that myself - more on that to come at another point in time]. Give The Kids a little time and I'll be surprised if they don't bring things on further again. I have great hope for them and their resourcefulness. They'll need to be as the gluttonous behaviour of your generation have left them with a lot less than their predecessors.
Good that you got your oar in there. I can't say that I agree with you though as there aren't many morons [by the definition of a moron] in this country. Most people here are unlearned and meek... like most people in most countries. At least their voice is listened to here... in other places the decisions are made for them. There is worse you know !
