Yes..... Norton DOES slow down your PC!

Why?

Because it's DOING A JOB OF WORK!

Do ANY of you NEED the sort of 'speed' that you claim? Not a single, solitary ONE of you! You are all being POSEURS!

Why do I run Norton? Because I don't want ANY viruses and, put simply, the REST of the anti-virus stuff is just NOT up to the job!

So.... just like brakes in your car... which 'only slow you down', I'd prefer to drive just a FRACTION slower to remain SAFE!

This is NOT rocket-science!

You lot can do EXACTLY what you like but I will continue to recommend Norton to beginners for the simple reason that they do NOT need to get viruses anhd there is NOTHING out there that does the job as WELL as Norton. NOTHING!
