"Net Books are seriously 'cut-down' PC lap tops with smaller screens, smaller keyboards, usually don't come with CD or DVD drives but are lighter to carry and they are bought by people who don't REALLY use computers.... just facebook, twitter, email etc...... and who are usually btrying to pretend that they have SUCH busy lives that they can't be without their PC for a SECOND...... as if!"
Ha,ha.......thats me too a tee :)
Really though, I use my desk top for the `serious` stuff, but the NC10 is a great little thing. I`ve never really thought of my Vaio (laptop)as being SERIOUSLY portable, I suppose it is of course, but in a laptop case, with it`s power cable and other bits and bobs, it is still pretty heavy to lug about.........the NC10 on the other hand, whilst a little limited in what it can and can`t do I agree, is so light it can really go anywhere without a problem.........WITHOUT having to carry the power cord around looking for a socket, because on maximum battery performance it will see about 6.5 hours of use........which is, as I am sure you would agree, a MASSIVE advantage on anything else out there.
