Stop this 'Villeneuve' rubbish and look at the FACTS! Review his last 2 'seasons' and see how RARELY he finished! He drove the BALLS off the cars until it broke and then he stuffed it into the WALL! Anyone can do THAT...... it just takes an IDIOT not to know that getting the car ALL the way to the finish is a REQUIREMENT of WINNING races. The rest is just SHOWBOATING!

People loved him becasue he was a SHOWMAN and he never seemed to know ehen the car had too few wheels to make it DRIVABLE!

It was OBVIOUS how he would end his motor-racing career: not even Hamilton takes as many 50:50 chances as Gilles took!

Jacques AND his Dad are/were the two most OVER-RATED drivers in F1 HISTORY!

Before you reply..... go and LOOK at the race finishing data!

I am NOT just saying this to be contentious..... he didn't seem to care if he brought the car home or not...... and usually DIDN'T!
