ye i basically mean that when you pass your test your insurance goes up alot. but if u pay Ł800 to insure urself on provisional once you pass that policy is invalid as you will then be on a ful license. so if u didnt want to insure urself on a full license and you passed your test within a month wud u still pay the full Ł800 provisional. probably just confused the situation even more but i think u answered it lol. cheers
