AOL never worked so dropped it straight away as did Talk Talk.

BT charged us txice in one month and never even notified us until I noticed something a little odd on my bank statement. And then did it again the following month.

NTL (now Virgin) were a joke. They over charged us every month. Charged for calls we never made and movies we never watched. They told us we were contracted to them so I cut the wire on the outside of the house. And they continued charging us for phone calls and movies ...for 5 months!

So for the last year and a half we have had no broadband, no land line and no cable TV.

Use a digi box for your TV and a simple pay as you go mobile for phone calls. I also have a pay as you go 3G dongle for my laptop. No dodgy direct debits, no over charging and no more holding on the phone to argue the latest bill.

Communications in the UK are a joke, just like the Royal Mail.
