Nice 'apple pie and mother' thoughts (i.e, stuff that we can ALL agree with), there, Kudos! Americans would LOVE it!

Now explain the DETAILS of what you are saying... that's just a fraction more difficult than the 'apple pie and mother' stuff!

You HAVE a voting system for the MAJORITY to 'control' the government and to get what the MAJORITY want. Errrrr...... but it was YOU who advised others NOT to vote...... perhaps you are more 'mother' and forget about the 'apple pie' stuff.... You can't have that BOTH ways!

If you don't like the voting systen, tell us the one YOU want..... remembering that proportional representation wilo get more BNP members, more 'militant left' members and more loonies from the fringes.... who will usually hold the casting vote and thus the M*I*N*O*R*I*T*Y will CONTROL the govt. Just look at the Israeli system. That's how NOT to run an election system. Of perhaps you'd prefer the Irish system.... which ended up with a PM who took MASSIVE bribes! Or how about the Italian system, where they ended up with an orange DWARF because he controls the media and changed the law to PREVENT him going to prison on FRAUD charges! Yup.... PR has some BRILLIANT 'adverts'! So... how do YOU want the majority to have their 'say'?

If you DO like the system but think it's the wrong PEOPLE standing for election, then I cannot understand why YOU haven't stood for election! If your ideas are so good, the public will SWARM to vote for you.....

This is where it all goes WRONG.... when you have to state the DETAILS!
