Vic; you are no fool but you forget what history has taught us.

Go back 70 years, and the fascist were warning us that the high birth rate of the Jews would swamp 'our people'. Did they?

Go back 40 years and Enoch Powell was warning us that the 'Black's' high birth rate would make them the MAJORITY in our country. Are they now?

Go back 30 years and it was the East African Indians would would swamp us..... need I continue....?

What happens is that the VAST majority of the children of immigrants 'get' the concept of this country and find how damned GOOD it is. They also get to see that families of 10 or 15 are NOT convenient and that 1 or 2 seems damned good.

YES, some of the children of ALL those ethnic groups WILL become NUTTERS but the VAST majority are NOT! And they assimilate pretty damned well.

Luckily for me, when MY family (grandmother) came here in 1917, the high birth rate of the Canadians wasn't discussed..... and now..... both my brother and I have precisely TWO children, each. We seem to have assimilated quite nicely!

If our society has ANY value at all, it becomes self evident to immigrant CHILDREN and they ADOPT 'our' ways. It'll happen to the Muslim children, too.
