Look for the engine which gives the higher torque figure.

Are they both 6 speed boxes? its the better box.

You'll find if you can afford to chip it, either will become a rocket ship if you don't mind the extra smoke coming out of the exhaust (diesels make the extra power by injecting more diesel at higher pressure, hence the smoke).

We've run Alfa diesels for racing in the past and they were giving more torque than a Ferrari 360 on the rolling road and would outdrag Aston Martin N24's up the hills at the Nurburgring.

Diesels rock! (I run a 406 2.1 TD, 250ftlb torque - great for towing)
