Briatore will be back at some point for the simple reasons that a) his ego and others like him make him think he's done nothing wrong and b) because of the same ego he has to be involved with something as glittzy as F1.

Funny how you never see any perma-tans with bling heading up the LTA or PGA or ??A. I can't see Flavio wanting to do anything other than get back in but therein lies his dilema.

Who would take him? A big team or an aspiring big team - NOT in trillion years. So that leaves 2 options - a smaller team with no potential (doesn't suit his image) or a new team with ambition = risk.

But he'll be back such is the incestuous nature of the sport!
