Doesn’t this clash with the green ways we are suppose to adopt, also the fact we should become more energy effiecnt, also not rely on europe for gas?
Wood is carbon neutral, gas and electricity never will be, so cant they forget the smoke free zone and let people get on burning wood to 'save the enviroment' ahem......... bull s**t cough......... mainly to save money.
Everyone round here (Yorkshire) is buying wood burners, you can get some pretty good ones that heat the whole house because they heat the water for the radiators.
