Dan,i agree with you too,im all for letting inovation take its own course,but it was only a matter of time anyway with KERS,Zytek are having loads of success with it in their own racing that it would not of gone un-noticed for much longer,indeed it didnt.

Its also not McLarens fault their system works,they chose to use it from the outset,spent shedloads no doubt on perfecting it along with Zytek and here they are....on the verge of giving it all up because other teams can't get it to work and with all the teams united now through FOTA they feel they have no choice but to agree to drop it.
