that fact hadn't actually occurred to me! looks like the fia have backed themselves into a corner.....................again.

so, let's get this right; EVERY time ANY car leaves the pits with ANYTHING not entiterly right the protocol now is that the team must be able to prove they gave clear instructions to halt before the driver takes the onus upon himself, or the entire team will be banned from the subsequent round of the world championship; naturally, as we all look to f1 for an example, this must percolate down and apply across the board to ALL formulae;crazy and i would suggest, like with worst of rules, unenforceable...
