The only problem I have with JT (Ferrari fan here) is that he had to be at least a little bit autocratic to get that rowdy lot into shape and keep them there for so many successful years. So would we want another dictator after the first one? Maybe not, even if he did successfully run Ferrari.
However, if he managed to be so successful at pretty much everything that he's turned his hand to, maybe he's not such a bad choice after all.
What I'm concerned with is that the FIA should appoint someone who can hold his way on the technical side, can manage and get results done AND more importantly be able to represent the Authority (FIA), the Drivers and the Manufacturers/Teams.
On that note do you know anyone qualified enough?
My choice would be Sir Jackie Stewart. But then I might not know enough people of the right calibre!
