If confirmation that `pay for` television has COMPLETE rule over sport has surely been confirmed with the ashes debacle.

The first match of the ashes series is played at, err, hang on, err, still can`t believe I am really typing this........CARDIFF?????

......hmmm, let`s forget the likes of Old Trafford, Trent Bridge, even Durham`s Riverside ground which is now a test venue..........bloody CARDIFF!!!!

15,000 capacity, AND, as I sit watching right now, I can see vacant seats all over the place.......none of which will bother the TCCB or indeed SKY of course!!!

The BBC should be hanging their heads in shame.......I subscribe to SKY, but I still say any ashes series should be on terrestrial TV.

Did anyone see the `opening ceremony`, along with Welsh, Australian and English anthems, in THAT order??

Toe curling embarrassment, wholly typical of SKY.....

When did an Ashes series stretching back hundreds of years be preceded by anthems and an opening ceremony.....????? For GODS sake, it isn`t a World cup final, or an Olympics............HIDEOUS!!!!
