Apologies to ashley and Russ , I didn't mean to sound as though I was having a go at ashleys English,having re-read my post it may sound that way,I was supporting Dan in his efforts to promote proper English generally.

His offer of free spannering is no doubt much appreciated and if he lived closer I'd take him up on it myself. Hope his efforts are welcomed.
