I've always thought Bernie was the secret investor in Donnington,i mean who else would would sign a 10 year contract to hold F1 at a circuit that didn't have planning permission,may not have got it if applied for,a track that although pretty good was no where near F1 standards and would need plenty money and time throwing at it.

I wonder if Bernie is a silent partner,if so he could ban a new breakaway (GPWC)from racing there but i guess most teams would prefer silverstone anyway so Bernie wouldn't have them over a barrel for that one.

As for the new track layout i reckon its very intresting,200mph into a hairpin,hows that gonna work,should be cool to watch,then back up hill,over a crest at goddards and back down a sweeping downhill bend then back uphill to join the old pit straight,also 2 or 3 different layouts too,all look quite good,British Kart Grand Prix anyone?
