Ian,i am not speaking for the stupid people or the ones who cant put a sentence together,
i am speaking as one of the voters, even though i fit both groups
the system has to reflect what the majority want and understand to get a true vote,
you seem happy to defend a system that removes the public and allow only the high end of the herd to make the choices
my stupid posts are born from watching http://www.taxpayersalliance.com/ for last couple of years, you are right the expenses media driven row is small fry but it is also makes the public question, the faith has been broken and some will check to see what else our money raised by taxes is spent on, that could raise voting, but no party escapes so leaves direct voting on issues, dont get fooled by the big brother stuff, that is saturday nite tv....jobs, nhs etc effect everyone in the country and the public may demand more control...good, once very 4-5years is poor, if big brother can get people voting then it cant be hard to make the public sit up and look at issues that effect their lives, even a job interview is tv at the moment.........but i get the feeling you dont want the public deciding but want them voting, asked a few times now but never explained
as for Vic, happy to see him posting and will cut me no slack in my mad thinking, but thinking is key, thats why i enjoy your posts, easy in our world to stop thinking, insult me i dont care, enjoy having my views challenged,no ego with my posts, i post to see what others think, interests me
