What I don't agree with from Itpro is the need to attack people personally who disagree with him, but there you are, we all know what to expect.

What exactly do you expect from government? We are all (even those below the so called poverty line)relatively well of. We get to protest (peacefully) without fear and unless we're really bad are unlikely to get the door kicked in by the Police in the middle of the night. This is more than you can say for France, let alone most other countries in the world.

Most complaints seem to resolve around the recession (something else you should really blame the media for) and the various world conflicts we are involved in. These are all debatable matters with no simple solutions, I believe those in authority make the best judgement they can on these things. Even if we had all the information in front of us, that they do, we couldn't hope to understand it enough to make a decision. So we have to accept the judgement of those voted in. If we don't agree we have one chance every few years to let somebody else have a go. Don't waste it.
