And the funny thing about all that above is that the temporary speed through the permanent roadworks is: 50mph. Then you come out of the roadworks (if you travelling westbound) and it isn't any safer to use a perfect piece of motorway at any faster speed than what was deemed safe through the roadworks!

Does that make sense?
