The establishment has always thought that The "Red team" where the Goose (Duck ?) that laid the golden egg and given them privileges accordingly.

Now Max, fresh from his victory over Mclaren thinks he is bigger and more powerfull even than the Red Team and is wanting to put them in their place as he feels he doesn't need them anymore.

He believes it's his fiddle and he will play his own tune. He doesn't give a jot about what the people who actually creat the spectacle think.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. No one in The FIAt will stand up to him so he can get away with "MURDER" and does.
