hi, need some guidance on a suitable camera for motorsport photography please.(Dave who went to Aus would help but I have lost his email!)

Will this camera be suitable for taking really tight/in close action shots from trackside, as a spectator rather than someone with a pass and a bib to wander, at your average circuit? (I realise there are restrictions about taking photos but apart from that ...)

I would like to see the whites of their eyes but will settle for just being able to make out the fear as they outbrake...

Am I asking too much from a/one camera of this price range? Constructive criticism appreciated please.
