I currently have a 1.4 Renault Clio. On my dads insurance fully comp Ł600.

If I did it on my own, now I have 3 points but a year driving experience, Ł1000 3rd party.

Looking at a 1977 MG BGT. 1.8l, fully comp insurance Ł800.

Speaks for itself really!!
